Welcome to Department of Polymer Technology, Government Polytechnic, Miraj. The department was established in 1996 with the intake capacity of 30 students. The intake capacity was increased to 40 in 2004 with increasing demand of polymer technocrats in polymer manufacturing, processing, packaging and testing sector. Our department is the only department in Pune region which run the course Diploma in Polymer Technology. Our department provides quality education and practical knowledge in the field of polymer and plastic technology. We trust in creating the learning environment that inspires curiosity, innovation and technical excellence. Our experienced faculty and staff members are devoted to mentor students in academic and skill development. Along with classroom learning, we features laboratory practice, industrial exposures and personality development.
